Start with the light position, then confirm the pole interface
For a roadway project, first show where the luminaire is intended to sit and which direction it faces. The curved arm is then reviewed as part of the proposed equipment interface. This sequence avoids a common gap: approving a pole silhouette before the fixture, orientation and site layout are understood.
Where the luminaire is not selected, describe the information still needed rather than implying a final bracket or arm. Designated project parties can then complete the applicable lighting, structural, electrical, civil, installation, maintenance, safety and authority checks.
