Project-specific support

Custom Engineering

Custom engineering is useful when a standard product family is close, but the project needs a different arm, device interface, base detail, finish or drawing package.

When custom work is useful

Custom discussion often starts with one practical problem: a special luminaire bracket, a camera arm, a signage mount, a traffic signal interface, a decorative base cover or a packing limit.

The goal is not to redesign everything. The goal is to keep the product family stable while adjusting the parts that matter for the project.

What to send

Send marked photos, sketches, tender drawings, device datasheets, target height, material direction, finish requirement and project country. If a similar installed pole exists, explain what should be copied and what should change.

For smart or multifunctional poles, list every device separately. Lighting, cameras, signage, communication boxes and signal arms all need their own mounting and cable route conversation.

What stays open

Final geometry, wall thickness, base details, bracket plates and drawing notes stay open until the project information is checked. This keeps the quotation honest and prevents a neat-looking design from hiding missing data.

Custom work is strongest when buyer comments are specific. A marked image is often worth more than a long paragraph.

RFQ inputs

Use this checklist before asking for a quotation or drawing discussion.

Good requestMarked photo or drawing, device datasheets, country, target height and finish direction.
Review focusInterfaces, access openings, cable route, arm loads and base coordination.
OutputConfiguration discussion, quotation notes and drawing coordination for confirmed project requirements.

How to use this page in an RFQ

Copy the table into the enquiry and fill in what is known. Leave the unknown items visible instead of deleting them. That makes the first reply more useful because the supplier can separate confirmed data from assumptions.

If several pole types are included in one project, list them separately. A roadway pole, a solar pole and a camera pole may share the same site, but the load, access and drawing questions are different.

Before final selection

Check the engineering page against the buyer's own project documents before comparing quotations. If a tender drawing, lighting layout or device schedule changes, the pole discussion should be updated before the quotation is treated as firm.

The safest review path is simple: confirm the application, confirm the equipment, then confirm the pole configuration. Skipping that order usually creates extra drawing revisions later.

Next step

Send confirmed data and mark open items clearly. Fortune Light Pole can then discuss the product family, drawings and quotation path with fewer assumptions.
