Requesting a Light Pole Quotation
A light pole quotation is more useful when the buyer separates confirmed data from open questions. The first request does not need to be perfect, but it should not hide what is unknown.
Resource page for B2B light pole buyers.

What to include
Start with name, email or WhatsApp, project country, application, product family, target height, quantity estimate and the response needed. Attach fixture or device datasheets whenever possible.
If drawings exist, send the relevant sheets and mark the pages that matter. A full tender file without notes can slow the first review.
What slows replies
A photo and a height are rarely enough. The supplier still has to ask about material, fixture load, finish, base condition, packing and document expectations.
Another slow pattern is asking for best price before the scope is clear. Price comparison works only when the assumptions are visible.
How to read the answer
A good first reply should state the product family, main assumptions, missing data and next information needed. If those items are absent, ask for clarification before comparing prices.
For formal buying, the quotation should be checked against drawings and project documents before purchase decisions are made.
Buyer checklist
Use this table to prepare a clearer enquiry before opening an RFQ discussion.
| Send first | Project country, application, product type, height, quantity and contact details. |
|---|---|
| Attach if available | Drawings, fixture data, photos, finish references and packing notes. |
| Ask for | Quotation, drawing comments, material options, packing notes or a project-specific review path. |
How this resource supports buying
Use the resource as a preparation page, not as a finished specification. It helps the buyer organize the first message so the supplier does not need to guess the application, product family or document level.
When a project has several open items, write them down in the RFQ. A quotation can still start from assumptions, but those assumptions should be visible before price comparison.
Before sending files
Keep the file package focused. Send the drawing sheets, fixture datasheets, finish references and site photos that explain the light pole enquiry. Large unrelated file sets make the first review slower.
Name the open questions in plain language. For example: fixture model not fixed, color to match existing site, foundation drawing unavailable, or quantity still being checked. That kind of note saves a round of email.
