A good drawing request starts with project inputs. The standard, title block, units, drawing scale and approval path should be clear before a drawing package is expected.

What the buyer should prepare
Send the installation country, local design requirement if available, target height, product family, fixture or device data, finish direction and foundation condition. If the buyer has a tender drawing, mark the relevant pages.
This keeps the first drawing conversation grounded. Without those inputs, a drawing can look complete while the load, finish or mounting condition is still open.
What drawings can clarify
Drawing review can clarify pole geometry, arm reach, access door position, base plate interface, anchor bolt layout, cable entry and accessory mounting. It can also capture open assumptions so the buyer knows what still needs confirmation.
For multifunctional poles, the drawing should separate lighting, camera, signage, traffic signal or communication equipment so the review does not hide device conflicts.
How to avoid rework
Use one change list. Mixing email comments, chat screenshots and unmarked PDFs creates confusion. A simple revision note is often better than a long message.
If the lighting layout or device schedule is still changing, say so. The drawing can be used for coordination while final project data is being confirmed.

How to use this page in an RFQ
Copy the table into the enquiry and fill in what is known. Leave the unknown items visible instead of deleting them. That makes the first reply more useful because the supplier can separate confirmed data from assumptions.
If several pole types are included in one project, list them separately. A roadway pole, a solar pole and a camera pole may share the same site, but the load, access and drawing questions are different.
Before final selection
Check the engineering page against the buyer's own project documents before comparing quotations. If a tender drawing, lighting layout or device schedule changes, the pole discussion should be updated before the quotation is treated as firm.
The safest review path is simple: confirm the application, confirm the equipment, then confirm the pole configuration. Skipping that order usually creates extra drawing revisions later.
