Define the finish route before comparing prices
Many RFQs say black, silver or gold. That is a visual target, not a manufacturing specification. A supplier still needs to know the base material, surface preparation, coating or plating route, color tolerance, appearance sample requirement and packing expectation.
For B2B light pole projects, the same color can be produced through different routes. Stainless steel can be brushed or polished. Aluminum alloy can be anodized or powder coated. Steel may be galvanized, coated or handled as a duplex system. The quotation should make the assumed route visible.
Material first
